The airport industry was an innovation, a revolution that was started by the United States. Even though they were the first to ever start the commerce of the air transport it does not mean that their expertise has made them the best. The airports in the Unites States have been declining in quality since the last decade.
The model has shifted from the United States, that now holds the third worst and most disconnected airport in the world, the Atlanta International Airport, and has gone towards Asia which holds the five of the top 10 airports in the world. This is because they have done the infrastructure for the airports to run smoothly. The airports in the United States have been created for a specific amount of planes, but with the growth of the market they have been increasingly receiving more planes, something the infrastructure can not handle, and creates delays in departure times as well as in immigrations.
Since the last decade air traffic has increased and has made the airport industry become less effective, because the number of passengers, departures, and arrivals are all increasing, and the airports are not increasing in size with them, making the infrastructure incompetent for the amount of flights.
When flying an average Venezuelan has a disadvantage, because the number of international airports are low, so people will not have the same amount of options as they do in other places, making them able to choose a better airport from where to depart.
