We need to show the world the importance of being an outstanding group of people and making people happy. That’s exactly what a group of students from TLC did on Saturday, February 1. The students went to La Finca to share with the ABANSA kids, leaving at about 9 am to be there at 10 am. About 12 students accomplished the mission accompanied by parents and teachers. When we got to the place, a group of eager children greeted us, happy to see us and play sports with us. Some of them were new to us and some of them were old friends we have seen before, so we knew them a little bit. Some people played soccer, baseball, kickball and even tag with the kids in ABANSA while others stayed in the kitchen collaborating to deliver a banquette of hot dogs for lunch. The teachers and parents hung out with the kids and leaders of this beneficial program for orphan children.
At 1 pm, we began the sad task of saying goodbye to all the children in La Finca, with the hope that we will see them again soon and having thoughts of us enjoying a nice time on a different day. From this, we students obtained the satisfaction of having a day outdoors, exercising and having fun. With this being said, we came back to CIPLC with our mission being accomplished!
